About Me

Hi! I’m Mohamed Elfaisal Ahmed, a Business and Mathematics double major at Skidmore College. I grew up in Sudan and later lived in Egypt, the UAE, and South Africa, experiences that shaped the way I see the world and the value I place on community and opportunity. Those moves taught me how to adapt, connect with different people, and stay grounded no matter the environment.

I’m interested in building a career in the non-profit sector, especially in roles focused on community impact and youth empowerment. I’ve worked with organizations like the Aspen Institute and the South African Ideas Festival, and I co-founded Skidmore’s first NSBE chapter to support Black STEM students on campus. Across everything I do, I try to bring a thoughtful, people-first approach — working on projects that have purpose, create access, and make room for others to succeed.
